We are seeking for best candidates to fill the vacant position of :

1. INSTRUMENT & CONTROLS ENGINEER SPECIALIST

Responsibility and Duties:

  • • Brings to the attention of both the DCS/Instrument Engineering any significant concerns regarding the EPC Contractors or vendors performance which includes quality control, schedule control and scope of supply.
  • • Supervises the EPC Contractors design for the control facilities and systems that are specifically under his responsibility.
  • • Communicates with other PMT instrument and control system engineers to ensure a Provides coverage for other PMT instrumentation and control system engineers when they re absent from the EPC Contractors office.
  • • Communicates with Operating Company personnel on matters relating to the maintenance and operation of the new facilities and their interfaces to existing facilities.
  • • Performs timely review of specifications and documentation to ensure that project schedules are maintained.
  • • Assist PMT in meeting RGEE expectations as required, especially RGEE Element 2 (Risk Assessment), RGEE Element 3 (Facility Design & Construction) and RGEE Element 7 (Management of Change).

Required Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills, and Experiences:

  • • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, (preferably control systems, chemical or electrical).
  • • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • • Good interpersonal skills.
  • • Familiarity with Trains 1 and 2 ICIMS Information and Control Systems.
  • • Technical understanding of state- of- the- art control system and information system technology.
  • • Minimum of fifteen (15) years technical experience in control systems discipline and have at least five years (5) specific experience working with an EPC Contractor on a large capital project.
  • • Experience with large scale distributed control systems and programmable electronic shutdown designs for major onshore petrochemical facilities.
  • • Experience with worldwide suppliers of instrumentation, DCS and other digital control, communications and networked subsystems.
  • • Experience with contractors, vendors, and implementation sub contractors in instrumentation, communications, DCS and other digital control and networked subsystems.
  • • Experience with hierarchical information and control system structure comprised of networked digital control, shutdown and control and information subsystems, as applied to major onshore and offshore facilities.

2. OFFSHORE PIPELINE INSPECTOR

Responsibility and Duties:

  • • The offshore pipeline Inspector is responsible for technical oversight of all pipeline and riser and expansion spool engineering, design, fabrication, and construction on the project.
  • • Ensures that the contractors produce cost effective pipelines, risers, expansion loops, and shore crossings that are designed, fabricated and installed to meet the Projects safety, performance, and durability requirements within the project budget and schedule.
  • • Participates in specification preparation and review, plus bid preparation and review.
  • • Ensures that the Projects requirements are properly detailed in the technical specification and met by the contractor, and that deliverables comply with Contract requirements.

Required Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills, and Experiences:

  • • Bachelors or equivalent degree in mechanical engineering, civil, or ocean engineering.
  • • 10 years + of pipeline related engineering experience in offshore pipeline design, installation, or operations.
  • • Must have thorough working knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts of pipeline engineering, design, and installation, including application of worldwide codes, standards, and industry practices.
  • • Must have hands-on design experience with large diameter offshore pipelines, including risers, sub sea spools, shore crossings, installation, and burial.

3. COST ENGINEER

Responsibility and Duties:

  • • Review and monitor the Contractors performance in the areas of cost estimating, scheduling and project control and provide input as necessary to make certain the Companys objectives are achieved.
  • • Provide timely review of cost and schedule impact of changes, modifications or alternatives by keeping abreast of engineering, procurement and construction activities and maintain project trend and change order logs.
  • • Prepare all required cost and schedule reports and provide project cost input into Project Monthly Report.
  • • Prepare cost forecast to insure budget requirements are within project expectations and keep management aware of potential budget problems as early as possible.
  • • Review the contractors procedures for estimating, scheduling and project controls and modify as necessary to meet the Companys needs.
  • • Assist in the preparation and review of EPC projects cost estimates and schedules and reconciliations utilizing the Contractors systems and personnel as required.
  • • Assist in the preparation of commercial terms and other documentations for the EPC bid packages.
  • • Assist PMT in meeting RGEE expectation as required, especially RGEE Element 4 (Information & Documents) and 7 (Management of Change).

Required Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills, and Experiences:

  • • Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
  • • Good written and verbal communications skills.
  • • Good technical/business team skills, ability to work with others.
  • • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of broad experience in the areas of cost estimating, scheduling and project control and have at least five (5) years specific involvement in projects for major process facilities.
  • • Experience with Contractors and worldwide suppliers, in particular those involved in the construction of major onshore facilities.
  • • Experience with project control software programs such as Excel, Word, etc.

4. INTERNAL INTERFACE COORDINATOR

Responsibility and Duties:

  • • Coordinating and administering regular subsurface coordination meetings, recording meeting discussions and stewarding follow up actions.
  • • Coordinating information to independent consultants and other support to Pertamina financing.
  • • Developing the projects Interface Management Plan with which each EPC contractor will be required to comply.

Required Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills, and Experiences:

  • • Bachelors or equivalent degree in engineering.
  • • 10 years + of broad upstream oil and gas experience. Previous experience as a project engineer preferred. Experience in written management communication.

5. EXECUTION PLANNING SPECIALIST

Responsibility and Duties:

  • • Participation in developing and coordinating execution project plan.
  • • Engages experts required in project management such SHE, regulatory, quality and cost schedule development as needed.
  • • Involved in developing and coordinating overall execution plans with particular responsibility to organization planning, important items, interface management, lessons learned and management of change elements.
  • • Assist and support Project Execution Lead to apply project control systems to identify the progress and monitor trends.
  • • Responsible to ensure that project controls are effectively implemented during the project.

Required Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills, and Experiences:

  • • Degree in Technique (BS/MS).
  • • Broad experience in management project and business control.
  • • Leadership and personnel management skill.
  • • Strong personality to effectively interact with stakeholders, including co-ventures and local government institutions.
  • • Expected can be positioned as Project Planning and Controls Supervisor of, Project Advisor.
  • • Competency Project Management (e.g. Cost estimation, project control, execution planning, contract, planning and scheduling).
  • • Basic ability in construction and development planning.
  • • Previous experience for more than one (marine, facilities, sub sea, pipelines, structures, etc.).
  • • 3 years experience in different project management areas.

6. RESERVOIR ENGINEER

Responsibility and Duties:

  • • To conduct and direct studies on reservoir to determine optimum development scheme.
  • • To recommend and assist in collection of reservoir data needed for reservoir management and new projects to enhance gas deliverability.
  • • To report on reservoir performance both historical and predicted to government agencies and Management.
  • • To train local engineers in advance reservoir engineering techniques.
  • • To provide quality reservoir engineering expertise and advice to affiliate management.
  • • To recommend and implement data acquisition programs, identify and solve reservoir engineering problem.

Required Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills, and Experiences:

  • • BS degree in an engineering subject with specialized course in Reservoir Engineering.
  • • 10 years of broad engineering experience with not less than seven years in Reservoir Engineering.
  • • Experience of simulation and detailed knowledge of economics.
    • General computer experience.

7. GENERAL INSPECTION & SURVEILLANCE (GIS) COORDINATOR

Responsibility and Duties:

  • • Develop and maintain the Project Assessment/Audit Plan for endorsement and approval by the Project Quality Manager and the Senior Project Manager respectively.
  • • Prepare auditor qualification processes for Project Quality Manager approval, and prepare and maintain auditor qualification packages for Lead and Auditor personnel.
  • • Participate in assessments or audits as required; Perform Lead Auditor responsibilities on supplier audits when participating.
  • • Coordinate the execution of Procurement Inspection when this activity remains a Company responsibility.
  • • Coordinate surveillance of contractors supplier management and shop inspection activities.
  • • Interface with the MIGAS Inspection Coordinator to provide inspection support when required.

Required Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills, and Experiences:

  • • BS/S1 in engineering is preferred, or an extensive degree of technical training and experience.
  • • Formal technical, quality assurance and auditor/assessor training is preferred.
  • • Minimum of 10 years experience in Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, Start-up or Operation activities of various facilities in the Oil and Gas Industry.

  • • Regional experience with contractors, in particular those involved in the construction of onshore production facilities, pipelines and/or FSOs, Lis appropriate.

8. SHE&S COORDINATOR

Required Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills, and Experiences:

  • • University or College degree Preferred.
  • • High Level of construction knowledge, skill experience.
  • • 10-15 years experience in implementing SHE / Security Management Systems.
  • • 5 years project healt & safety experience.
  • • Good computer skills including Lotus Notes, Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.

9. EXTERNAL INTERFACE COODINATOR

Required Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills, and Experiences:

  • • 5 years of Procurement experiences.
  • • Intermediate to Expert Contracting Skills.
  • • Experience in Construction, Maintenance, Drilling or Production Service Contracting.
  • • Detailed knowledge and application of ExxonMobil requirements (e.g. DOAG).
  • • Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
  • • BA/BS Preferred.
  • • Upstream experience would be very beneficial but not required.

10. CPF SPECIALIST

Responsibility and Duties:

  • • Ensure negotiation of land values is within the “Terms of Reference” (TOR) approved in Terms Sheets.
  • • Responsible for communication and status documents for field activities to be sent to Jakarta Office.
  • • Prepare and maintain activity schedules.
  • • Prepare Minutes of Meetings (MOM) to accurately capture discussion items at Negotiation events and other significant meetings in the field.
  • • Identify and assist to resolve gaps in work activities or communication information.
  • • Communicate With Methods & Procedures Specialist regarding Compensation Guidelines & Procedures, Term Sheets and Best Practices.
  • • Coordinate, between Jakarta Rice personnel and Negotiation Team(s).
